Old rex is a character strictly for fans; he appeared in the Rebels animated series and I loved it since then. He is the reason I let me bear grow so that I could portray him in a more natural way.
Of course while trooping he is not the general crowd show stopper like the zombie or the wookiee but this one is really one for me; and also to let other troopers enjoy the spotlight.
Compared to the 100’s of picture request I have with the Z. and the W. old Rex got 5 or 6 ; each time by uber fans which is really nice. These were not random request to take a pic with the “monkey” but people who said ” I am such a huge fan of Old Rex, thank you for taking him here”… so worth it !.
